Destiny`s child started in Houston,Texas in 1990 with 4 girlsBeyonce KnowlesLaTavia Roberson,Kelendria "Kelley" Rowland , and LaToya Luckett. Beyonce and LaTavia became freinds after meeting at an audition at the age of nine. Later, Nikki Taylor,her younger sister Nina Taylor,Tamar Davis,Kelley Rowland joined Beyonce and LaTavia to form the group GirlTyme. Beyonce father Matthew Knowles developed this group called GirlTyme. GirlTyme was rapping and singing group that was doing performances at Houston clubs. The group did an performances on Star Search a major tv show. After the group appearance on Star Search they did opening acts for major R&B goups like SWV, Dru Hill, and Immature. This was the beininnig of a group know today as Destiny`s child that persevered threw challages of losting group members and lawsuits to obtain title as a top pop artist group.
Destiny`s Child know as the top pop artist group was formally know as GirlTyme. GirlTyme over the years has transformed form six members to three members that we know as of today. The three standing members of Destiny`s child are Beyonce Knowles, Kelley Rowland, and Michelle Williams but before it was the final three it was four of them. LaToya and LaTavia was the two group members that didn`t want Beyonce father as manger anymore becasue they think he was disproportionate share of the band's profits and try to have all control over the girls every move and also that he was favoring his daughter Beyonce and niece Kelley and unfairly treating LaTavia and LaToya. So that started the disagreements in the group but they made a hit song "Say My Name" which inculded the two new members Michele and Farrah. LaTavia and LaToya was still apart of the group but didn`t recieve recognition for their role in the video and singing the song "Say My Name". At this piont the group had drop LaTavia and LaToya and when that happened LaTavia and LaToya took legal action because there was a breach of partnership and fiduciary duties. The girls came to a settlement agreement and never spoke of it again

The picture above shows the new group Desitny`s Child after the lawsuit. The girls soon returned to the studio and began working on their next hit song and album. Soon after the lawsuit they lost Farrah Franklin becasue she kept missing major show dates and demonstrated that she was disinterest in working with the group. After Farrah had left the group it was only three members left Beyonce, Kelley, and Michelle. Through the challenges of lawsuits and members leaving the group, they were still producing hit songs.
Threw the many challenges the group produced many hit songs, then they began to produce their own solo albums.The group still keep thier goals to become a very successful entertianment group. Even through the girls are doing solo projects they are still able to come together and work on the last album as the group called Desitny`s Child. Desitny`s Child should get recognition for thier hard work and dedication to coming one of the lagers pop groups in the world and then being successful in their own solo projects. The thing can take from this group is no what happens to you stay focus on your goal so you can become very succesful in everything you do. Desitny`s Child has set the highs standard for the futrue all female artist that comes in the music business.
